I still haven't really got used to writing down blogposts in a more structured way, so it'll end up as a train-of-thought type of deal.
For the sake of my list I did not differentiate between Albums and EPs, so from now on both these terms are used interchangeably
I guess let's start with some stats, shall we?- Looking at my list I've listened to 42 albums this year
- Out of those 42 albums only 4 were in my native language
- 22 albums were re-listens, 20 were brand new finds
- Only 5 albums from that list were released this year
- Oldest album was from 1970, newest was 2025 (duh)
- Average year of release was 2012, and median was 2018
- Most common artist on this list was Porter Robinson with 4 albums
Okay, now it's time for some albums/EPs that stand out in one way or another:
